Why pay a professional shooter?

The basics of being a professional shooter is that we are duly licensed in the State of South Australia! While that is almost the total issue in suburbia, it is not the whole limiting factor in the rural environment. Around suburbia you need a contractors licence and that means you have to meet the criteria of the new Fire Arms legislation. However, in rural South Australia it means we need to bring more to justify paying for services when lots of sports shooters will offer to hunt on your property for free. 

The main difference is not accuracy as many might like you to believe, rather it is the equipment and the skills acquired on the job! Knowing the target’s habits, motivations, behaviors and needs is key to real success! Sports shooters and Professional shooters are as similar as day and night. Our methods and motivations are completely different to that of a sports shooter. Most sports shooters are not practiced in exterminating a herd of deer! In fact they are normally motivated by a prized set of antlers and maybe a bit of meat for the fridge. This can mean they might only get to take few shots on any given day. Wiping out the herd/flock is counter productive and goes against their long term interest; leaving the herd in tact for future prize antlers. In contrast we shoot as many problem animals or birds as we can, as quickly as we can. We use silenced weapons that are not typically made available to Sports shooters. 

Our job is to eliminate pests full stop! And so we develop methods that helps us to achieve this goal in the most efficient way possible. We’d love nothing more than to tell you all about how we go about it!
